☐ Bed bug eggs (small, white, and rice-shaped) or pale, shed bed bug skins near mattress seams and crevices
☐ Tiny black dots or rust-colored stains on sheets, pillowcases, or mattress edges (bed bug droppings)
☐ Blood spots on your bedding from squished bed bugs
☐ Red, itchy bites, especially in lines or clusters, after sleeping
☐ Complaints of bites or skin irritation from family members, guests, or pets
☐ Unexplained rashes or allergic reactions, often occurring at night
☐ A faint musty or sweet odor near beds, furniture, or luggage
☐ Sightings of live bed bugs (flat, brown, and about the size of an apple seed) on bedding or upholstery
☐ Recent purchase of used furniture or secondhand clothing
☐ Recent travel—especially involving hotels, trains, planes, or short-term rentals
☐ Bed bug signs found in other areas: sofas, chairs, baseboards, luggage, or laundry areas
